Problem Activating Licensing Terminal Server

Hello.

We are experiencing issues when activating the Terminal Server license server with the error.

The RD Licensing Manager received an unrecognized response from the Microsoft Clearinghouse. The site may be experiencing problems or your Internet connection may not be functioning properly. Check your Internet connection, and then retry the operation. If the problem persists, try using a different connection method.

We are experiencing this issue on different servers from different providers, so we have ruled out a connectivity problem.

If we activate it through the web service https://activate.microsoft.com/, we have no issues.

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

Thanks in advance.

    Hello  Soporte- Hotmail,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

Since you are able to activate it through the web service without any issues, it seems like there might be a problem with the communication between your RD Licensing Manager and the Microsoft Clearinghouse.

To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following steps:

    1. Ensure that the RD Licensing Manager server has proper internet connectivity and can communicate with the Microsoft Clearinghouse.
    2. Check if there are any firewall or network settings blocking the communication between the RD Licensing Manager and the Microsoft Clearinghouse.
    3. Verify that the server's date and time settings are accurate.
    4. Restart the RD Licensing Manager service and try activating the license server again.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.
