Unable to Connect to VDI, also unable to uninstall remote desktop services infrastructure agent won't uninstall. Need assistance to resolve the issue.

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Force uninstall the agent: open Command Prompt as administrator and run the following command:

msiexec /x {3E8E1E9F-B9A9-4971-A38B-8B1F58083F88} /qn

If force uninstall fails, try manual removal: Stop the RDAgent and RDAgentBootLoader services and delete the following folders:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft RDInfra
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\RDInfra

Remove related registry keys under:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\RDInfra

Restart the VM and reinstall the AVD agent: Download the latest agent from the Azure portal and install with elevated privileges

Since the MSI ID differs depending on the version, you need to run the following PowerShell command to match it to your environment

get-wmiobject Win32_Product | Sort-Object -Property Name |Format-Table IdentifyingNumber, Name -AutoSize
