Can't save credentials in MacOS version of Windows App

When trying to change credentials in Remote Desktop/Windows App on Mac OSX 15.0.1, I get a message that credentials won't be saved because app can access Keychain. I assume this is a certificate issue? The Windows App version is 11.0.5 (2401).

After "upgrading" to the latest Remote Desktop app on macOS -- now called "Windows App", you will not be able to save passwords as the app doesn't have access to your keychain for previously-stored passwords. To remedy this:

    1. Open Keychain Access
    2. Open the default keychain where your passwords are stored (usually called "login").
    3. Search in the upper right for "com.microsoft.rdc.macos" -- this will show the stored password items.
    4. For each item:
      1. Right click and select Get Info
      2. Click Access Control tab
      3. Click +
      4. Navigate to Applications and select Windows App
      5. Click Save Changes - this will require authentication.

Windows app > Settings > Credentials > Select the problematic credential and delete it

Use the plus sign to add your current credentials again and give it a friendly name

Now go back to the saved PCs in the Windows app, click on the top right corner of the remote PC three dots > Edit

Under credentials, select the friendly name you gave in the earlier step, click save

You'll be able to login and not have to deal with the keychain password error message with the Windows app.

Update. This is 100% related to having a work account signed in. Remove work account and it works fine.
