Program Installers Start But Then Disappear in Windows 11

I have a Windows 11 computer that will not allow any program installer to finish. The installer shows up on the screen, and then disappears with no error message. I looked in the event log, and didn't find anything there. I reregistered msiexec. I've run the installer as Administrator. I ran System File Checker, and there were no errors. I ran the Windows Image Repair Tool. I uninstalled the antivirus program. I tried creating a second Administrator account. Nothing has worked.

Any ideas?

    Hello

Here are a few additional steps you can try:

Unblock the Installer: Right-click on the installer and select properties. Check the option “Unblock”, click on Apply and Ok to save the change, then try to install it again.

Run the Compatibility Troubleshooter: Right-click on the installer, select properties, click on the Compatibility tab, then click on “Run compatibility troubleshooter” and follow the instructions.

Enable the Installer Logs: Run this command in Command Prompt (run as Administrator): "C:\Users\Your_user\path_to_installer\setup.exe" /v"/l*v C:\Users\Your_user\path_to_installer\LogFile.log". Then open the LogFile.log to check what is causing the problem.

Check Windows Installer Service: Right-click on the taskbar, select Task Manager, switch to Services, and look for msiserver. Start it.

Enable Developer Mode: Press the Windows key + I to launch the Settings app. Navigate to Privacy & security tab on your left. Under Security, click on For developers. Enable the switch next to Developer Mode.
